Will you be offering Locked Stretch Goals as Add-ons?

Sadly, the math doesn’t add up to offer the locked stretch goals as Add-ons. When we get this high with a campaign, the costs increase exponentially. I’d hate to promise something as an add-on and come up short. It makes a lot more sense (from a financial standpoint) to offer any locked stretch goals in a 3rd KS campaign after this one has been delivered in full. Also, that last day is really busy - we unlocked a ton of stretch goals in the previous campaign on the last day, and it’s hard to gauge which ones will be unlocked on that last day with this campaign to offer them as Add-ons.

Will you be cutting up files for resin printers? New Answer: Yes, kinda

3/12/21 - EDIT As of today, I can say that I WILL be supporting Saturn, Mono X and similar-sized resin printers (192 x 120 x 200mm). I have sliced the Mayan Temple into two parts vertically for Saturn and Mono X printers and the print tests have been successful, however, you may need to use rubber bands or a vice to glue the two pieces together effectively. Feel free to give it a go: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4751295 Dice Jails/Vaults should fit fine on larger resin printers such as the Saturn, and some towers (the crystal tower, for example may fit). If you have a smaller printer, I’d recommend printing wider towers at 63% and pairing them with tiny dice (can be found on Amazon). Small format printers such as the Photon and the Mars are just too small to fit every dice tower at 100% from this campaign. FDM: All files will be designed to print on smaller FDM Printers like the Prusa Mini. Files above 7” (about 177mm) tall will be split into two models so they’re printable on smaller printers. These objects can be any size that your printer can support, so you can print them smaller (if you have a small printer) or larger (for large dice) if desired. All Dice towers are designed to work with standard 20mm dice at 100% scale. (*Dice set/tower scales are determined by the size of the D20 in the set.) If you can’t print the towers at 100%, then print them at 60% to work with tiny 12mm dice sets (can be found in local game stores or on Amazon.) Dice Jails and Vaults may work, depending on size and scale.

Will you be offering Merchant License renewals after they expire? (24 months after last file is delivered.)

Yes, I plan on offering renewals for Merchant Licenses after they expire, and I don’t anticipate charging more than the last price grouping ($285) for the renewal.

Is there a way to get files from both campaigns and a Merchant License for both campaigns?

Yep! You would want to purchase the Dual License in this case. It allows you to sell prints from both campaigns and you’ll get all Stretch Goal unlocks from both!

Can I buy just one Dice Tower, Dice Box or GM Screen?

Eventually, I’ll be listing each object on the following sites: https://www.myminifactory.com/users/Kimbolt and https://cults3d.com/en/users/Kimbolt The price will be $6.99 per object (Crystal tower for example) but my priority is this campaign so listing them one by one for sale won’t be high on my priority list for a while.

My dice gets stuck, what gives?

All Dice towers are designed to work with standard 20mm dice at 100% scale. (*Dice set/tower scales are determined by the size of the D20 in the set.) I personally have printed the Mayan temple numerous times at 100% and have tested them with 20mm D20s. You may have larger dice. In that case, you’ll need to get smaller dice or print the tower larger. I have provided a Dice Scale table in the Production Schedule (3d tab): https://www.fatesend.net/production-schedule

Last updated: March 26, 2021 10:08

I backed the Merchant tier. Can I start listing pre-sales today?

Until the campaign funds (around April 15th) no one should be listing anything for sale from this campaign. Once that happens, I’ll be sending all Merchants Approved-for-sales concept art, then you’ll be free to list as you wish.

Last updated: March 26, 2021 10:11

Can I upgrade to the Merchant tier later on?

I’ll be offering both the Merchant License and the Dual License as upgrades in the Pledge Manager, so you can upgrade later if you wish. Your original pledge will be discounted from the cost of the upgrade. Please note that the cost of the Merchant License will increase to the last Merchant Group ($285) and it won’t go towards locked stretch goals after the campaign ends.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
